Getting Started: Cleaning Your CPAP Mask and Tubing
- Unsnap the corner snap on your sanitizing bag.
- Insert the filter next to the snap in the top corner of the bag, pointed end down.
- Re snap the snap.
- Connect one end of your CPAP tubing to the ozone port on your Clean Z device.
- Put your CPAP mask into the sanitizing bag.
- If the remaining end of your tubing fits onto your mask, connect these now. If your tubing does not fit onto your mask, simply put the end of the tubing into the bag.
- Seal the top of the bag using the Velcro, securing the Velcro around the tubing.
- Plug in the power adapter and connect the USB cable to the Clean Z.
- Turn on your Clean Z device with the power button. You should see a red light start flashing to indicate it is preparing to start.
The Clean Z will run a full cycle, pumping ozone into the bag to sanitize your mask and tubing. When it is finished sanitizing, the ozone will be pumped out of the bag through the filter, turning the ozone into oxygen when it exits.
Note: It is recommended to wait a full hour before using your CPAP to ensure any residual ozone has dissipated.
